About:
This is a narrative piece retelling the fairytale of Cinderella through the four main characters: Cinderella, the Evil Stepmother, the Fairy Godmother and the Prince. I believe architecture to be an extension of the user, and that people leave their impact on space. Using both of these ideas, this piece proves that we can tell our stories through the spaces we inhabit.
Each side focuses on one setting of the story to express the character. The Cellar for Cinderella, the Parlor for the Stepmother, the Greenhouse for the Fairy Godmother, and the Castle for the Prince.
The maneuverable openings surprise the viewer with a maximalist and colorful interior to draw them in and allow the viewer to become a part of the story as they move through it.
